1. Math Word Problem Warm Ups!
The first weekly resource that I am going to brag about is my beautiful math bellringers! I ALWAYS start my math block with word problems. Let's be honest, word problems can be tough... that is why I MAKE SURE they are done FIRST! Once it's a daily expectation, they become less scary to the kids... and wouldn't you know... the more they practice - the better they get. 🙌🏼
Check out the full year bundle so you can start your math block with comprehensive word problems that follow your BIG IDEAS curriculum.
This weekly resource truly helps me set the tone in my math class.
2. Positive Notes Home
Every week I send home AT LEAST ONE positive note. I have a stack of this resource on hand, printed on cardstock, cut, and pre-signed. They fit perfectly inside my student's agenda & they give me an open template to praise my students in my own voice. It's very personal, the grown-ups love it, & it makes the kid sparkle! Sending out one weekly keeps my students on their toes & helps boost the class climate regularly!
